This past 2 weeks the mechanical room did their first climbing test and the woodworking room made the cargo ship and rocket (lots of rocket science). When finding exactly what we as a team were doing, I went to the programming room and I walked into them doing the vision processing, which they created from nothing and is almost 600 lines of code (I can’t even type that high. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11- see it’s pointless). But I walked in and, I kid you not, every single one of them was talking in code terminology I could not understand. I pretty much had to convince them to explain it to me in a way that I would understand (I used the excuse that it was for the parents, hopefully that was good enough). Anyway, I am pretty sure that it makes it so that the robot can locate the center and size of an image so that you can track them onto the robot and it can grab them automatically (I think). Hopefully that’s right or else I might have a mob of angry programmers able to program me out of the universe!
