Shawn Van Ness and Frank Braswell attended the IN-MaC, #PurdueINMaC Micro-Grant Summit in West Lafayette, IN on September 12, 2023. The IN-MaC Micro-Grant (https://www.purdue.edu/in-mac/) is a $2,000 award, and the purpose of this program is to stimulate industry-education collaborations and programming while broadening access to industry career awareness.

One of the benefits of our IN-MaC relationship is the yearly Micro-Grant Summit. Lisa Deck, IN-MaC Program Director, brings together educators, including FIRST robotics teams like PhyXTGears and industry leaders to hear about innovative programs to address the challenges of workforce development in Indiana. The keynote address by Scott Hutcheson, Ph.D. gave an inspirational and practical approach to developing leadership skills that will move our organizations, and Indiana, in a positive direction.
