Here at PhyXTGears, we are hosting a fundraiser called Quartermania! It will be a fun and an exciting event where you will be able to win some great prizes!
This new fundraiser, however, will be a cross between an auction and the game bingo. At the start, you will be given three paddles and a bucket. Depending on the item, you will put a certain amount of quarters into the bucket that will later be collected with your number. Your number will be inserted on a cube, and that cube will then be placed inside a container. Whichever number gets pulled out of that container will win that specific item, and the winner will have to pay what they have originally put in that bucket for.
We have many great prizes too including gift baskets and gift certificates from various fun places such as Holiday World, Perfect North Slopes, SkyZone, Science Central, Muncie Civic Theatre, Minnetrista, and from many local restaurants.
This event will be held on March 16. The doors will open at 5:30 P.M, but the event will not begin until 6:00 and will end at 9:00. You can buy tickets on our Facebook page, as well as from our team members around the community. Or you can pay $10 at the door when you come in for your paddles and bucket.
Come join us and support us with our fundraiser as we try to raise money for our robotics team and also for our competition trips, including the World’s Championship if we are able to participate.
