What are the PhyXTGears up to? Well, here at the end of build week one we have started to prototype some of the ideas our students and mentors presented on Tuesday. The Woodworking team is very busy working on the complicated field pieces for this year’s game. Over in the mechanical room students are working on a swerve drive for the robot, fixing the fourth wheel that is presenting issues at the moment. The team is also training the new students. Below are some pictures from our team’s first build week of 2018.
